Nicodim Târban made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Aristide Raţiu made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Petru Curuțiu sent off a good shot on target. Nicodim Târban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Bobailă in the 24th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Aron Bobailă got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Steaua Bihorului's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Steaua Bihorului's Petru Curuțiu in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Aron Bobailă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aristide Raţiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petru Curuțiu in the 80th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iurie Ivan in the 82nd minute of play forced Steaua Bihorului's goalkeeper Nicodim Târban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute Iurie Ivan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicodim Târban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aristide Raţiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Irimia in the 85th minute of play. Aristide Raţiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petru Curuțiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aristide Raţiu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petru Curuțiu's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. A hard shot by Mugur Bădulescu from long distance, 96 minutes into the match, got Nicodim Târban's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.
