After 3 minutes, Valer Greavu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pihna and the Aly-G Team C-ta players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Pihna getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Valer Greavu hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 5th minute by Nichifor Filimon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Valer Greavu hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Aly-G Team C-ta's Nichifor Filimon got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 14 played minutes Pihna got a freekick which was hit by Ernest Mudura. Leonard Cruceru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Avram Birișu in the 18th minute of the match. The supporters of Pihna booed when Aly-G Team C-ta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucian Negreanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Pihna's goal looked a bit too open when Lucian Negreanu came free, but Costică Stafie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, Nichifor Filimon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Costică Stafie was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Costică Stafie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucian Negreanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Pihna's Costică Stafie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucian Negreanu in the 57th minute of play. Costică Stafie didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucian Negreanu went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. If Ernest Mudura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ernest Mudura came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Pihna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernest Mudura couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd match minute, Aly-G Team C-ta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iordache Marchidan to maneuver through the defense. Ernest Mudura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute of the match Nicolae Bălășescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Costică Stafie showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 87 minutes, Avram Birișu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pihna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Avram Birișu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th match minute, Aly-G Team C-ta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iordache Marchidan to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Aly-G Team C-ta's Iordache Marchidan got a free kick in the 92nd minute. A collision led to Pihna getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Cristi Tudor hit a great ball.
