Sergiu Măguran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aron Elefterescu's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aron Elefterescu in the 39th minute of play forced Beclenut's goalkeeper Sergiu Măguran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40thth minute of the game Edgar Răchită who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Beclenut's Sergiu Măguran was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Martin Cozorici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebiu Manciulea in the 42nd minute of play. Ilia CS's Martin Cozorici played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cezar Ponor in the 45th minute of play. Sergiu Măguran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Răchită in the 49th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Beclenut were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Ilia CS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dumitru Neagoe took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ilia CS's goalie and right to Cezar Ponor. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ilia CS's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Edgar Torouţ managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ilia CS's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Torouţ was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergiu Măguran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Aron Elefterescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Edgar Răchită managed to get in a good position for a shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cătălin Prislop during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th match minute, Beclenut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cătălin Prislop to maneuver through the defense. Sergiu Măguran acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 78th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Iulian Albescu. Beclenut's Sergiu Măguran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Elefterescu in the 80th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Aron Elefterescu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sergiu Măguran, passed just outside the right post. Sergiu Măguran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aron Elefterescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Beclenut were victorious despite being under pressure from Ilia CS for much of the match.
