Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, metalul's goalkeeper Ciprian Daimacă had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgar Torouţ. After a rather tough play, metalul's Sever Mereuță got a free kick in the 4th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Augustin Armanca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Martin Cozorici was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ciprian Daimacă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Elefterescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, metalul's Cosmin Vizitiu got a free kick in the 21st minute. Ilia CS's Aron Elefterescu got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aron Elefterescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ciprian Daimacă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aron Elefterescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciprian Daimacă having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Edgar Răchită notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of metalul's Ciprian Daimacă. Ciprian Daimacă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aron Elefterescu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 41st minute. Ilia CS's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 43 minutes into the match, Ilia CS's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Lipan came free, but Martin Cozorici reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, metalul's Ciprian Daimacă got control of the ball when Edgar Răchită tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aron Elefterescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Emil Lipan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. The referee ignored metalul's protests and gave Gigel Roman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th match minute, metalul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gigel Roman to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Ilia CS's Iulian Albescu tried to score from far away in the 70th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mihail Iulian in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Cozorici saved Ilia CS from getting behind. Ciprian Daimacă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aron Elefterescu in the 84th minute of play. Aron Elefterescu struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Ciprian Daimacă didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ilia CS. The Ilia CS fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Ilia CS's Edgar Răchită looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 97 minutes into the game, Aron Elefterescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Ciprian Daimacă was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the Ilia CS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
