Aristide Susara's late challenge caught a Romanian Patriots's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aristide Susara helped the player get up and apologised. After 12 played minutes Steluta Darmanesti got a freekick which was hit by Aristide Susara. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cosmin Chifu in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelian Tâbârnă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aurelian Tâbârnă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosmin Chifu, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Claudiu Blăniță cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Victor Huțupan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Claudiu Blăniță took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Huțupan. Victor Huțupan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Romanian Patriots's Victor Huțupan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudiu Blăniță in the 26th minute of play. Cosmin Chifu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Aurelian Tâbârnă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Romanian Patriots! Victor Huțupan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudiu Blăniță's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Mădălin Burnei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Aurelian Tâbârnă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cosmin Chifu to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 56 minutes, Cristinel Coșeriu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Steluta Darmanesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristinel Coșeriu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Claudiu Blăniță managed to get in a good position for a shot. Steluta Darmanesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudiu Blăniță was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Huțupan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Cosmin Chifu came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Romanian Patriots fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cosmin Chifu couldn't finish the play. The long shot by Andrei Movileanu in the 67th minute really tested Victor Huțupan's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Emilian Negură kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Andrei Movileanu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Victor Huțupan. Romanian Patriots's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Steluta Darmanesti's Cristinel Coșeriu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victor Huțupan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Mădălin Burnei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelian Tâbârnă having to interfere. Claudiu Blăniță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Victor Huțupan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudiu Blăniță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Huțupan having to interfere. Olimpiu Vasiloiu's late challenge caught a Steluta Darmanesti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olimpiu Vasiloiu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th match minute, Romanian Patriots was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olimpiu Vasiloiu to maneuver through the defense. If Claudiu Blăniță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
