Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After some careless play in the Pihna defense, Marian Hrebenciuc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Costică Stafie. The Pihna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Costică Stafie should have stopped the shot. In the 8th minute, Pihna's Avram Birișu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. When Niculae Braia fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pihna's protests and gave Niculae Braia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th minute Mihnea Oroian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costică Stafie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Adam Lițu managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Pihna's Ernest Mudura fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for United Slobozia! The goalkeeper, Adam Lițu, was totally fooled by Pihna's Sabin Iosub, who 24 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Ernest Mudura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 32 minutes, Avram Birișu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pihna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Avram Birișu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ernest Mudura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Lițu having to interfere. Adam Lițu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avram Birișu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Avram Birișu struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Adam Lițu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pihna. Adam Lițu made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Ernest Mudura sent off a good shot on target. Adam Lițu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avram Birișu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernest Mudura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Avram Birișu in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adam Lițu saved United Slobozia from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marian Hrebenciuc to strike the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes, Cristi Tudor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pihna and the United Slobozia players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of United Slobozia booed when Pihna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristi Tudor didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pihna's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vasile Hobjilă was slow to take the kick. During this time United Slobozia's players had a chance to rest. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Avram Birișu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pihna's supporters rose to their feet, but Avram Birișu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adam Lițu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Pihna booed when United Slobozia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petruț Caragea didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, Mihnea Oroian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marian Hrebenciuc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pihna's Costică Stafie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Pihna from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute, Pihna's Costel Andronic seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Costel Andronic the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Pihna protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Costel Andronic had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 88 minutes into the game, one of Pihna:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Costică Stafie, was totally fooled by United Slobozia's Vasile Hobjilă, who 91 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 99 minutes into the game, Marian Hrebenciuc recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Costică Stafie. Marian Hrebenciuc showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. United Slobozia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
