Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 6 minutes into the game, Cristi Tudor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pihna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ilia CS the free kick. Cristi Tudor kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Pihna's goal looked a bit too open when Aron Elefterescu came free, but Costică Stafie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Răchită fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Costică Stafie having to interfere. Aron Elefterescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Costică Stafie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Ilia CS's Aron Elefterescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Costică Stafie. That made the score 1-0 after 22 minutes of play. Pihna's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Aron Elefterescu scored to the left of an out of position Costică Stafie, making the score, 2-0. In the 31st minute, Cristi Tudor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute of the match Iulian Albescu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Costică Stafie skillfully saved the ball. Aron Elefterescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Costică Stafie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aron Elefterescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ilia CS's Iulian Albescu got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aron Elefterescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edgar Răchită fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Costică Stafie having to interfere. Aron Elefterescu took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Costică Stafie. Costică Stafie dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Costică Stafie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Răchită, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aron Elefterescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Costică Stafie having to interfere. Costică Stafie came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ilia CS's Aron Elefterescu. But to his dismay, Aron Elefterescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Costică Stafie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aron Elefterescu in the 77th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Aron Elefterescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ilia CS's supporters rose to their feet, but Aron Elefterescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Costică Stafie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81stth minute of the game Edgar Răchită who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pihna's Costică Stafie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 88 minutes, Aron Elefterescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ilia CS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aron Elefterescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Costică Stafie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Torouţ, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Martin Cozorici made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernest Mudura in the 92nd minute. Nicodim Gherghescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Costică Stafie having to interfere. Aron Elefterescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
