An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandu Buznea in the 15th minute of play forced Ciceul's goalkeeper Ciprian Petru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciprian Petru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Lovinescu in the 20th minute of the match. Ciceul's Ciprian Petru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandu Buznea in the 24th minute of play. Ciprian Petru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Șerban Zbereanu in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Mandruloc UFC's Șerban Zbereanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denis Micescu to make the kick off. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ciceul's goalkeeper Ciprian Petru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. There was no doubt that Mandruloc UFC were the better team. Mandruloc UFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
