Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Constantin Petriceanu took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodor Floreanu in the 3rd minute of play forced Callatis Mangalia FC's goalkeeper Marcel Stănciulaş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferdinand Calomfirescu kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute FC Stiinta were awarded a corner. Dorin Stoleru went to the cornerflag to take it. FC Stiinta's Dorin Stoleru was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcel Stănciulaş in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Callatis Mangalia FC's Ernest Pintilescu got a free kick in the 14th minute. FC Stiinta's Teodor Floreanu managed to work through Callatis Mangalia FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Teodor Floreanu dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Daniel Ghimiș's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Marcel Stănciulaş skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Daniel Ghimiș took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcel Stănciulaş. Marcel Stănciulaş dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Constantin Petriceanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isac Orășan having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Teodor Floreanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Ghimiș who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Marcel Stănciulaş when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marcel Stănciulaş made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Daniel Ghimiș sent off a good shot on target. Teodor Floreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Marcel Stănciulaş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teodor Floreanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ernest Pintilescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iustin Costea during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Callatis Mangalia FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Iustin Costea hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Teodor Floreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Stiinta's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodor Floreanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcel Stănciulaş breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teodor Floreanu kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. When Cornel Stoiciu fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Stiinta's protests and gave Cornel Stoiciu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th match minute, FC Stiinta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornel Stoiciu to maneuver through the defense. When Constantin Petriceanu came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Callatis Mangalia FC fans jumped to their feet.
