With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sabin Chioreanu in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mugur Petriceanu saved Ramon CF Arad from getting behind. Ramon CF Arad's Mugur Petriceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octav Chitimia in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Sabin Chioreanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mugur Petriceanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Sabin Chioreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mugur Petriceanu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Radu Curuțiu. 62 minutes into the game, Valer Tatu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ramon CF Arad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jugani the free kick. A collision led to Ramon CF Arad getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ramon CF Arad's Mugur Petriceanu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gabriel Acalinei charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Acalinei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 69 minutes into the game, Edgar Calini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jugani's Sabin Chioreanu came free and shot a quick shot against goal 87 minutes in the game, fortunately Mugur Petriceanu had problems saving as it came toward the left post. When Valer Tatu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 88 minutes had been played. A collision led to Ramon CF Arad getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Valer Tatu hit a great ball. If Sabin Chioreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramon CF Arad's Mugur Petriceanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Ramon CF Arad from getting a goal against them.
