When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Sabin Chioreanu put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sebastian Arnăuțoiu. 20 minutes into the match, Jugani's goal looked a bit too open when Dragoş Chirea came free, but Ferdinand Armanca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Dragoş Chirea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ferdinand Armanca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sabin Chioreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Arnăuțoiu having to interfere. With a little luck, Sangeroasa's Sebastian Arnăuțoiu got control of the ball when Sabin Chioreanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sabin Chioreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 33 played minutes, Jugani's Petrică Dabija shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sebastian Arnăuțoiu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jugani reached it. Gelu Enoiu's late challenge caught a Jugani's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gelu Enoiu helped the player get up and apologised. After 35 played minutes Sangeroasa got a freekick which was hit by Gelu Enoiu. A hard shot 47 in the game by Sabin Chioreanu from a close distance when the talented Sebastian Arnăuțoiu managed to make a qualified save. Sangeroasa's players were relieved. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Sebastian Arnăuțoiu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sabin Chioreanu's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. After a rather tough play, Sangeroasa's Albert Unchiaşu got a free kick in the 54th minute. Jugani's Denis Papaiani couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 55th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sangeroasa. Bogdan Nedelcea charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bogdan Nedelcea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sabin Chioreanu in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Arnăuțoiu saved Sangeroasa from getting behind. 65 minutes into the match, Jugani's Manuel Ghionea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastian Arnăuțoiu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Sabin Chioreanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jugani fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The supporters of Sangeroasa booed when Jugani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Calini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sabin Chioreanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Arnăuțoiu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Marian Gligor charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marian Gligor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dragoş Chirea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Armanca having to interfere. When Bogdan Nedelcea came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Sangeroasa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bogdan Nedelcea couldn't finish the play. 83 minutes into the match, Eric Gârleanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastian Arnăuțoiu. Sangeroasa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eric Gârleanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. After having played for 93 minutes, Sabin Chioreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jugani's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sabin Chioreanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Jugani had won after a very even match.
