Pompiliu Dominte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebiu Răuţă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eusebiu Răuţă might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pompiliu Dominte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eusebiu Răuţă ran back to his position shaking his head. Felcheriul CF's Pompiliu Dominte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiberiu Codrescu in the 20th minute of play. Pompiliu Dominte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiberiu Codrescu in the 21st minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Sergiu Pavelescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th minute, Tiberiu Codrescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pompiliu Dominte was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Tiberiu Codrescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Eusebiu Răuţă had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pompiliu Dominte. Felcheriul CF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eusebiu Răuţă was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Tiberiu Codrescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pompiliu Dominte having to interfere. Ionuț Vâlcu kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. When Sandu Buznea fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored REGIONAL FC's protests and gave Sandu Buznea a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, REGIONAL FC's Sandu Buznea got a free kick in the 48th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mircea Bogdănescu to make the kick off. Felcheriul CF's Pompiliu Dominte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Felcheriul CF from getting a goal against them. Eusebiu Răuţă who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Pompiliu Dominte when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Călin Chirculescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pompiliu Dominte having to interfere. Tiberiu Codrescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Pompiliu Dominte made a huge save. In the 66th minute, Felcheriul CF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eusebiu Răuţă fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some careless play in the Felcheriul CF defense, Tiberiu Codrescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pompiliu Dominte. The Felcheriul CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pompiliu Dominte should have stopped the shot. 75 minutes into the game, Ionică Pascaru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Felcheriul CF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave REGIONAL FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Felcheriul CF's Ionică Pascaru got a free kick in the 75th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as REGIONAL FC's Tiberiu Codrescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pompiliu Dominte. That made the score 0-4 after 76 minutes of play. Pompiliu Dominte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiberiu Codrescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The supporters of REGIONAL FC booed when Felcheriul CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihnea Elisei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pompiliu Dominte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiberiu Codrescu in the 82nd minute of the match. Tiberiu Codrescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pompiliu Dominte having to interfere. In the 87th minute, REGIONAL FC's Eusebiu Răuţă ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pompiliu Dominte. Pompiliu Dominte yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. REGIONAL FC played a much better game than Felcheriul CF and deserved their victory. The Felcheriul CF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
