Spectators: 7514 (Terracing: 5636, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Iurie Tilincă started the match with the kick off. After 9 played minutes ANOSR got a freekick which was hit by Avram Bulzan. Bolintin United's Dinu Gligor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iurie Tilincă in the 16th minute of play. When Iurie Tilincă came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the ANOSR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iurie Tilincă couldn't finish the play. In the 21st minute, Damian Craia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Damian Craia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iurie Tilincă in the 24th minute of play forced Bolintin United's goalkeeper Dinu Gligor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicodim Papadima was shown his second yellow card after 32 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 32nd minute, Nicodim Papadima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 35 minutes, Romeo Gheorghe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ANOSR and the Bolintin United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 35 played minutes ANOSR got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Gheorghe. If Martin Culiță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ion Păvăloae during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 43 played minutes ANOSR got a freekick which was hit by Ion Păvăloae. After 44 played minutes Bolintin United got a freekick which was hit by Robert Calboreanu. Viorel Zbârciog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Martin Culiță made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Vali Antipa managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Bolintin United's Viorel Zbârciog fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 59 played minutes ANOSR got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Sasu. When Iurie Tilincă came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the ANOSR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iurie Tilincă couldn't finish the play. In the 74th match minute, ANOSR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avram Bulzan to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute, Viorel Zbârciog got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iurie Tilincă hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute Martin Culiță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vali Antipa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Bolintin United fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Bolintin United's Viorel Zbârciog looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Martin Culiță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vali Antipa having to interfere. The Bolintin United supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bolintin United would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
