The referee showed Nicodim Papadima the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nicodim Papadima hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After 86 minutes of play AFC Catenaccio's Romeo Buzea was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 87th minute, Romeo Buzea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 92 minutes into the match, AFC Catenaccio's goalkeeper Ivan Arghirescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damian Craia. In the 96th minute, AFC Catenaccio's Horea Geambașu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Horea Geambașu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of AFC Catenaccio protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Horea Geambașu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 96 minutes into the game, one of AFC Catenaccio:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 99 minutes, ANOSR's Grigore Brăescu got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ivan Arghirescu. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ANOSR walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
