ANOSR's Vali Antipa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horia Domide in the 8th minute of play. After having played for 13 minutes, Horia Domide managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Viitorul Constanta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horia Domide was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vali Antipa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horia Domide in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, ANOSR's goal looked a bit too open when Horia Domide came free, but Vali Antipa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicodim Papadima hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 23 minutes, Ion Păvăloae mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ANOSR and the Viitorul Constanta players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, ANOSR's Ion Păvăloae got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Mihail Ibrișin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Vali Antipa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Iurie Tilincă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Viitorul Constanta getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Aurelian Roşca hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Viitorul Constanta's goalkeeper Petru Baican had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damian Craia. In the 40th minute, Damian Craia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Iurie Tilincă struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Petru Baican didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ANOSR. Doru Vornicescu came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vali Antipa could save by the left post. Iurie Tilincă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petru Baican having to interfere. Damian Craia scored 1-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Petru Baican, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Petru Baican took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Craia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Mihail Ibrișin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vali Antipa. That made the score 1-2 in the 76 minute of play. In the 81st minute, one of ANOSR:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ANOSR. ANOSR:s Vali Antipa showed great skill when he stopped Romeo Panescu:s penalty. In the 83rd minute, Romeo Panescu made a precise shot to the right of Vali Antipa. ANOSR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The Viitorul Constanta supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Viitorul Constanta would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
