The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Horia Bostan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Supreme protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Horia Bostan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave Left Hand of Devil a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eugen Zgârcu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Supreme's Eduard Hizo. 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Călin Bârlea to make the kick off. Ionel Elenescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihăiţă Doloman having to interfere. In the 59th minute Călin Bârlea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduard Hizo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Nicodim Alupoaie fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Supreme's protests and gave Nicodim Alupoaie a yellow card for diving instead. Nicodim Alupoaie kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Supreme's goal looked a bit too open when Eduard Fecioru came free, but Eduard Hizo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduard Hizo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Călin Bârlea, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the match, Left Hand of Devil's goalkeeper Mihăiţă Doloman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ionel Elenescu. When Eduard Fecioru came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Left Hand of Devil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduard Fecioru couldn't finish the play. Călin Bârlea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduard Hizo having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Călin Bârlea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Left Hand of Devil fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Eduard Hizo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Călin Bârlea in the 96th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Left Hand of Devil had won after a very even match.
