Romeo Luncașu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, Surdesti's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Luncașu came free, but Gigel Seremet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Silişteanu got free with Toader Cazan in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gabriel Silişteanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. When Emilian Cimpoieru came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Surdesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilian Cimpoieru couldn't finish the play. Petrică Ioniță's late challenge caught a Surdesti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Surdesti's Gabriel Silişteanu was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 33rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Gabriel Silişteanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Toader Cazan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. If Gabriel Silişteanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 played minutes Surdesti got a freekick which was hit by Filip Smarandache. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Emilian Cimpoieru made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, criss team's Dan Daria got a free kick in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the game, Surdesti's Laurențiu Alexandroae nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Toader Cazan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Gabriel Silişteanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Toader Cazan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriel Silişteanu ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silviu Simionică during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th minute, Silviu Simionică hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute Emilian Cimpoieru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toader Cazan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toader Cazan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilian Cimpoieru in the 76th minute of the match. Gabriel Silişteanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Toader Cazan having to make a save. Gabriel Silişteanu struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Toader Cazan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Surdesti. Toader Cazan came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Surdesti's Emilian Cimpoieru. But to his dismay, Emilian Cimpoieru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Toader Cazan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Silişteanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Toader Cazan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilian Cimpoieru in the 89th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Emilian Cimpoieru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Surdesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Emilian Cimpoieru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toader Cazan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
