Spectators: 6734 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dumitru Bosioc got the match started through his kick off. After 3 played minutes Scheia got a freekick which was hit by Dan Florean. 6 minutes into the match, Scheia's goal looked a bit too open when Maxim Fetea came free, but Ernest Mortu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernest Mortu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxim Fetea in the 8th minute of the match. In the last second Valentin Danciu throw himself and got hold of the ball when Viorel Aluneanu in the 10thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. George Proca's late challenge caught a Scheia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. George Proca helped the player get up and apologised. George Proca hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Cehetel's Maxim Fetea got a free kick in the 13th minute. Matei Oprea took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Valentin Danciu. Cehetel's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Valentin Danciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viorel Aluneanu in the 17th minute of play. After 21 played minutes Cehetel got a freekick which was hit by Ion Lupașcu. Ernest Mortu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dumitru Bosioc in the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Dumitru Bosioc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernest Mortu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viorel Aluneanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Danciu having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iacob Ponta during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th match minute, Scheia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mugur Tadici to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute Cosmin Agachi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernest Mortu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dumitru Bosioc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ernest Mortu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viorel Aluneanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viorel Aluneanu to make the kick off. If Dumitru Bosioc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Cehetel's Dumitru Bosioc dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. 61 minutes into the match, Scheia's goalkeeper Ernest Mortu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maxim Fetea. Ernest Mortu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cosmin Agachi in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Curăreanu in the 65th minute of play forced Cehetel's goalkeeper Valentin Danciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viorel Aluneanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Danciu having to interfere. Valentin Danciu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Viorel Aluneanu went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Ernest Mortu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dumitru Bosioc showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 79 minute of play. Maxim Fetea's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ernest Mortu firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maxim Fetea got free with Ernest Mortu in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 87 minutes of play, Cehetel's Dumitru Bosioc made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernest Mortu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 94thth minute of the game Viorel Aluneanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cehetel's Valentin Danciu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Victor Curăreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Viorel Aluneanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cehetel played a much better game than Scheia and deserved their victory. The Scheia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
