Spectators: 7481 (Terracing: 5612, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) Ionuț Calboreanu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manole Lopatnicu in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petru Bercea saved Petrolul Moinesti from getting behind. Petru Bercea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doru Pupăzan in the 5th minute of play. Manole Lopatnicu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petru Bercea having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Doru Pupăzan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Petrolul Moinesti's Petru Bercea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doru Pupăzan in the 15th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Petrolul Moinesti's zone, Anton Bulencea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petru Bercea came out of the goal and Anton Bulencea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Doru Pupăzan might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Petru Bercea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Doru Pupăzan ran back to his position shaking his head. 34 minutes into the game, Sandu Vişoiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Petrolul Moinesti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC GLORIA BUZĂU the free kick. In the 34th match minute, Petrolul Moinesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandu Vişoiu to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, Petrolul Moinesti's goal looked a bit too open when Manole Lopatnicu came free, but Petru Bercea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manole Lopatnicu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Doru Pupăzan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Petru Bercea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Petru Bercea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Doru Pupăzan went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Petrolul Moinesti's Petru Bercea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manole Lopatnicu in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Doru Pupăzan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match, Doru Pupăzan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Petru Bercea saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 54th minute Doru Pupăzan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petru Bercea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Doru Pupăzan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ionuț Calboreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manole Lopatnicu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Petru Bercea skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Petrolul Moinesti's Petru Bercea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doru Pupăzan in the 66th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Anton Bulencea took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Petru Bercea to make any attempt to save it. In the 71st minute, Valentin Arjoca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manole Lopatnicu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Doru Pupăzan sped through Petrolul Moinesti's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Petru Bercea. 81 minutes into the match, Petrolul Moinesti's goal looked a bit too open when Doru Pupăzan came free, but Petru Bercea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Manole Lopatnicu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Petru Bercea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Manole Lopatnicu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Petru Bercea firmly grabbed it by the left post. 91 minutes into the match, Petrolul Moinesti's goal looked a bit too open when Doru Pupăzan came free, but Petru Bercea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Manole Lopatnicu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, FC GLORIA BUZĂU's Doru Pupăzan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petru Bercea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC GLORIA BUZĂU's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
