A beautiful save bye Maldaeni CSS's goalie prevented a goal. Octav Baștină hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Eugen Lung from long distance, 17 minutes into the match, got Radu Bălanescu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After having played for 18 minutes, Liviu Pârvan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BlackWolf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Liviu Pârvan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavril Ciorănescu in the 20th minute of play forced Maldaeni CSS's goalkeeper Cosmin Iulian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gavril Ciorănescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosmin Iulian having to interfere. Cosmin Iulian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavril Ciorănescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BlackWolf's Radu Bălanescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionică Hoisie in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, BlackWolf's goal looked a bit too open when Ionică Hoisie came free, but Radu Bălanescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ionică Hoisie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Radu Bălanescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ionică Hoisie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Liviu Pârvan was the one to do the kick off. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Mihnea Vlas sped through BlackWolf's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Radu Bălanescu. Radu Bălanescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionică Hoisie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mihnea Vlas kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Gavril Ciorănescu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 70th minute. BlackWolf's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 74 minutes into the game, Niculae Ghizdeanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BlackWolf's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maldaeni CSS the free kick. The supporters of Maldaeni CSS booed when BlackWolf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niculae Ghizdeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ionică Hoisie in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Radu Bălanescu saved BlackWolf from getting behind. A collision led to Maldaeni CSS getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Tiberiu Trandafir hit a great ball. Mihnea Vlas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radu Bălanescu having to interfere. Ştefan Frățilă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radu Bălanescu having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ionică Hoisie in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Radu Bălanescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 99th minute Mihnea Vlas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Bălanescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
