HSTBM's Nae Dudea got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Călin Neagu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Ghinescu in the 21st minute of the match. Marcos Zumelzu struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Călin Neagu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CS Atletic Tonea. Călin Neagu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Măcrinici, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Zumelzu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Călin Neagu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Ghinescu in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Călin Neagu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. HSTBM's Călin Neagu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save HSTBM from getting a goal against them. Călin Neagu made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Marcos Zumelzu sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Manuel Ghinescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Călin Neagu was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. 42 minutes into the match, HSTBM's goalkeeper Călin Neagu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcos Zumelzu. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Ghinescu to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Manuel Ghinescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Neagu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuele De Simone was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Iurie Popic showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 56 minute of play. Mihnea Pomuț was extremely unlucky when he, in the 59th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Marcos Zumelzu managed to get in a good position for a shot. CS Atletic Tonea's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Zumelzu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Călin Neagu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marius Bujor lost his temper 70 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in HSTBM fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! The referee gave CS Atletic Tonea a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Manuel Ghinescu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of HSTBM's Călin Neagu. 2-3. Marcos Zumelzu might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Călin Neagu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcos Zumelzu ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in HSTBM's zone, Manuel Ghinescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Călin Neagu came out of the goal and Manuel Ghinescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rdth minute of the game Manuel Ghinescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but HSTBM's Călin Neagu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emanuele De Simone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mihnea Pomuț in the 97th minute. Chants of HSTBM echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as CS Atletic Tonea had held the ball for most of the match.
