Horea Cristoiu might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristinel Poenaru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Horea Cristoiu ran back to his position shaking his head. Niculae Cupșa kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Horea Cristoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute Horea Cristoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristinel Poenaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th match minute, F.C. CARTIER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dacian Mititelu to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dorin Gligan in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valentin Pască saved F.C. CARTIER from getting behind. If Tudor Ungur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tudor Ungur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valentin Pască read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of DD13 booed when F.C. CARTIER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliodor Mischie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristinel Poenaru came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. CARTIER's Horea Cristoiu. But to his dismay, Horea Cristoiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Horea Cristoiu came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the F.C. CARTIER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horea Cristoiu couldn't finish the play. Valentin Pască took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorin Gligan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 played minutes, F.C. CARTIER's Sever Mustățea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cristinel Poenaru came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in F.C. CARTIER reached it. When F.C. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dorin Gligan to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horea Cristoiu in the 58th minute of play forced DD13's goalkeeper Cristinel Poenaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niculae Cupșa hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After 71 played minutes F.C. CARTIER's Lucian Frânculescu stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Cristinel Poenaru stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing DD13 of the goal. If Lucian Frânculescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Basarab Crâșmaru hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The DD13 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. F.C. CARTIER were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
