The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Horea Cristoiu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Alin Romoşan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Valentin Pască. That made the score 0-3 in the 53 minute of play. With a little luck, F.C. CARTIER's Valentin Pască got control of the ball when Cristian Verzeanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Romanian Patriots booed when F.C. CARTIER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dacian Mititelu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, F.C. Cristian Verzeanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Valentin Pască made a huge save. 82 minutes into the game, Cristian Verzeanu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valentin Pască. Cristian Verzeanu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Cristian Verzeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Pască having to interfere. Dacian Mititelu hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. When Lucian Frânculescu came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the F.C. CARTIER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucian Frânculescu couldn't finish the play. Romanian Patriots's Stelian Aronescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horea Cristoiu in the 92nd minute of play. Cristian Verzeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Romanian Patriots booed when F.C. CARTIER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dacian Mititelu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valentin Pască took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alin Romoşan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. F.C. CARTIER's Lucian Frânculescu got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Romanian Patriots played a much better game than F.C. CARTIER and deserved their victory. The F.C. CARTIER players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
