Spectators: 7328 (Terracing: 5601, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 10) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sabin Valerian took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ioan Goicea during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of DD13 booed when Bageni FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ioan Goicea didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, DD13's Dorin Gligan got a free kick in the 9th minute. Dorin Gligan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Andrei Mihălțan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sabin Valerian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristinel Poenaru having to make a save. A collision led to DD13 getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Niculae Cupșa hit a great ball. After 21 played minutes, Bageni FC's Dinu Mitu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cristinel Poenaru came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bageni FC reached it. In the 22nd minute, Basarab Crâșmaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tudor Ungur who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Andrei Mihălțan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 26th match minute, Bageni FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manole Siclovan to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Bageni FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Robert Stoican hit a great ball. Andrei Mihălțan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorin Gligan in the 34th minute of play. Tudor Ungur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dorin Gligan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrei Mihălțan having to interfere. Bageni FC's Sabin Valerian got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tudor Ungur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Andrei Mihălțan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dorin Gligan made a kick off. Andrei Mihălțan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tudor Ungur, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Bageni FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Robert Stoican hit a great ball. Andrei Mihălțan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tudor Ungur in the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Adam Hârtopanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrei Mihălțan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorin Gligan in the 60th minute of play. Tudor Ungur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. With an all-out effort, Bageni FC's Cristinel Poenaru threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sabin Valerian, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bageni FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
