The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Ernest Moga came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the APF ONESTI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernest Moga couldn't finish the play. 5 minutes into the game, APF ONESTI's Francisc Moscu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horaţiu Mugur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 8 minutes, Emanuel Brânzeu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the APF ONESTI and the Grajdeni FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, APF ONESTI's Emanuel Brânzeu got a free kick in the 8th minute. Horaţiu Mugur made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Emilian Mocanu sent off a good shot on target. 12 minutes into the game, Răzvan Stanca recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Horaţiu Mugur. Răzvan Stanca showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Horaţiu Mugur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernest Moga in the 15th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Emilian Mocanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. APF ONESTI's supporters rose to their feet, but Emilian Mocanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horaţiu Mugur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ernest Moga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horaţiu Mugur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Răzvan Stanca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Ernest Moga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horaţiu Mugur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernest Moga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emilian Mocanu got free with Horaţiu Mugur in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ernest Moga received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Horaţiu Mugur came out and tried to block the shot, but Ernest Moga slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 36th minute. When APF ONESTI's Ernest Moga in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernest Moga made a kick off. Ernest Moga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Mugur having to interfere. Horaţiu Mugur came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by APF ONESTI's Ernest Moga. But to his dismay, Ernest Moga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Emilian Mocanu scored 5-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Horaţiu Mugur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ernest Moga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horaţiu Mugur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernest Moga in the 70th minute of the match. When Ernest Moga came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the APF ONESTI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernest Moga couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernest Moga in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horaţiu Mugur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 80 minutes into the match, Grajdeni FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emilian Mocanu came free, but Horaţiu Mugur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernest Moga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Mugur having to interfere. In the 83rdth minute of the game Emilian Mocanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grajdeni FC's Horaţiu Mugur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When APF ONESTI's Ernest Moga in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grajdeni FC's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Grajdeni FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Dumitru Zburlea hit a great ball.
