Spectators: 7560 (Terracing: 5671, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 151) Holbav's Denis Negruț started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Damian Buceceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Gråberg in the 4th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas Gråberg in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damian Buceceanu saved Holbav from getting behind. 8 minutes into the match, Marcel Enciu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Holbav's Damian Buceceanu. Damian Buceceanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Holbav defense, Marcel Enciu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damian Buceceanu. The Holbav fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damian Buceceanu should have stopped the shot. With an all-out effort, Holbav's Anacleto Abella threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Denis Negruț, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 27 minutes into the game, Panait Andone was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ASU Politehnica Timișoara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Holbav the free kick. The goalkeeper, Anacleto Abella, was totally fooled by Holbav's Marcu Aalexoaiei, who 28 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Damian Buceceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Enciu in the 34th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcel Enciu in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damian Buceceanu saved Holbav from getting behind. Damian Buceceanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcel Enciu's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Panait Andone placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out!

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucas Gråberg to strike the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Holbav's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Panait Andone was slow to take the kick. During this time ASU Politehnica Timișoara's players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Gråberg got free with Damian Buceceanu in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas Gråberg in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damian Buceceanu saved Holbav from getting behind. If Marcel Enciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anacleto Abella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avram Macamete, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Marcel Enciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Buceceanu having to interfere. Lucas Gråberg got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-5 in the right cross in the 83rd match minute before Damian Buceceanu had time to react. Lucas Gråbergs short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Damian Buceceanu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 93 minutes, Lucas Gråberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ASU Politehnica Timișoara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Gråberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Holbav fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ASU Politehnica Timișoara were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
