Spectators: 7342 (Terracing: 5742, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) FC ICE's Eliodor Macovescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Marcel Enciu sped through FC ICE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eduard Babarada. In the 6th match minute, ASU Politehnica Timișoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Stere to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC ICE's Octavian Ipătescu got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute, Panait Andone sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC ICE's Eduard Babarada didn't even have to move. Lucas Gråberg hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 2-0 became the score in the 22nd minute when Lucas Gråberg elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Eduard Babarada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Enciu in the 25th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Marcel Enciu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ASU Politehnica Timișoara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC ICE the free kick. Eduard Babarada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Enciu, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC ICE's goalkeeper Eduard Babarada, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Lucas Gråberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 46th minute, which Eduard Babarada however easily saved by the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucas Gråberg to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Eliodor Macovescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anacleto Abella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vlad Zăgănescu hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Marcel Enciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduard Babarada having to interfere. Lucas Gråberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcel Enciu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Eduard Babarada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduard Babarada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Gråberg in the 69th minute of play. Eduard Babarada stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcel Enciu's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Lucas Gråberg put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Eduard Babarada. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Gråberg in the 82nd minute of play forced FC ICE's goalkeeper Eduard Babarada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 played minutes FC ICE got a freekick which was hit by Octav Baicu. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas Gråberg in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eduard Babarada saved FC ICE from getting behind. Eduard Babarada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Enciu in the 96th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ASU Politehnica Timișoara fully deserved thier win.
