When Radu Negara fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gaz Gaz Gaz's protests and gave Radu Negara a yellow card for diving instead. Radu Negara hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. When Octav Baicu came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the FC ICE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octav Baicu couldn't finish the play. After 26 minutes, Traian Plop mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC ICE and the Gaz Gaz Gaz players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute, Traian Plop hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduard Babarada acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 27th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Felix Lesnea. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Florin Lopatnicu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gaz Gaz Gaz's supporters rose to their feet, but Florin Lopatnicu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduard Babarada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 35 minutes into the game, FC ICE's Eliodor Macovescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alin Ştercă made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Augustin Leahu took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eduard Babarada. Eduard Babarada dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eliodor Macovescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Florin Lopatnicu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute, Luca Sântimbrean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliodor Macovescu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 68th minute. FC ICE's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Gaz Gaz Gaz's Alin Ştercă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliodor Macovescu in the 71st minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Gaz Gaz Gaz's Florin Lopatnicu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eduard Babarada narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Eliodor Macovescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augustin Leahu hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Eliodor Macovescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alin Ştercă having to interfere. Octav Baicu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Alin Ştercă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gaz Gaz Gaz's goalkeeper Alin Ştercă, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as FC ICE's Eliodor Macovescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alin Ştercă. That made the score 1-3 after 95 minutes of play.
