The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Damian Buceceanu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of SPARTANII booed when Holbav was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Murgescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Holbav's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Negruț was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lucian Uncu charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucian Uncu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lucian Uncu hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. A collision led to Holbav getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Maxim Chiriță hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eric Ştefănuţ in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damian Buceceanu saved Holbav from getting behind. With a little luck, SPARTANII's Codruț Pascaru got control of the ball when Denis Negruț tried to sneak it across the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, SPARTANII's goalkeeper Codruț Pascaru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Avram Macamete. In the 95th minute, Ion Iftimescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ion Iftimescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Damian Buceceanu having to make a save. SPARTANII's Eric Ştefănuţ got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
