Alin Ştercă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Octav Baicu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alin Ştercă. Gaz Gaz Gaz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Octav Baicu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, FC ICE's goal looked a bit too open when Cătălin Frățilă came free, but Eduard Babarada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Octav Baicu got free with Alin Ştercă in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Florin Lopatnicu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduard Babarada having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC ICE's Mădălin Nedelcu got a free kick in the 35th minute. After having played for 43 minutes, Florin Lopatnicu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gaz Gaz Gaz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florin Lopatnicu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cătălin Frățilă struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Eduard Babarada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gaz Gaz Gaz. After some careless play in the FC ICE defense, Florin Lopatnicu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eduard Babarada. The FC ICE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eduard Babarada should have stopped the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eliodor Macovescu to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Octav Baicu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Alin Ştercă was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to FC ICE getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Traian Plop hit a great ball. When Eliodor Macovescu came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the FC ICE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliodor Macovescu couldn't finish the play. 69 minutes into the match, Gaz Gaz Gaz's goal looked a bit too open when Octav Baicu came free, but Alin Ştercă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 played minutes Gaz Gaz Gaz got a freekick which was hit by Augustin Leahu. FC ICE's Eliodor Macovescu got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Florin Lopatnicu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Eduard Babarada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florin Lopatnicu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in FC ICE's zone, Florin Lopatnicu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduard Babarada came out of the goal and Florin Lopatnicu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Traian Plop kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
