Spectators: 7522 (Terracing: 5642, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) Vlad Toma made the kick off and thus started the match. 5 minutes into the game, Aron Băieșu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tarculesti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Langenfeld CSS the free kick. Aron Băieșu kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Vlad Toma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Gigi Voicu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petrică Ţirpe in the 17th minute of play forced Langenfeld CSS's goalkeeper Ionuț Apostu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Laurențiu Olteanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tarculesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Laurențiu Olteanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ionuț Apostu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ionuț Apostu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petrică Ţirpe in the 22nd minute of the match. Petrică Ţirpe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionuț Apostu having to interfere. Isac Grigore charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isac Grigore the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th minute, one of Tarculesti:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tarculesti. The goalkeeper, Gigi Voicu, was totally fooled by Langenfeld CSS's Florin Postolache, who 28 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 33 minutes of play, Tarculesti's Petrică Ţirpe made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ionuț Apostu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Petrică Ţirpe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ionuț Apostu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Langenfeld CSS getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Cătălin Grama hit a great ball. Petrică Ţirpe scored 2-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ionuț Apostu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Petrică Ţirpe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionuț Apostu having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Petrică Ţirpe was the one to do the kick off. When Tarculesti's Petrică Ţirpe in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Langenfeld CSS's goalie prevented a goal. Gigi Voicu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Blănaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gigi Voicu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vlad Toma in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Langenfeld CSS's Codruț Argăseală got a free kick in the 58th minute. Isac Grigore, 59 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After having played for 60 minutes, Petrică Ţirpe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tarculesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petrică Ţirpe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Laurențiu Olteanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tarculesti's Gigi Voicu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vlad Toma in the 73rd minute of play. The long shot by Constantin Săndoi in the 75th minute really tested Ionuț Apostu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Aron Băieșu managed to get in a good position for a shot. After 86 played minutes Langenfeld CSS got a freekick which was hit by Codruț Argăseală. When Langenfeld CSS's Filip Blănaru in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tarculesti's goalie prevented a goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
