Julian Ruzicki struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Vlad Alexandrescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carabaci CSS. 11 minutes into the match, Tibucani FC's Paul Dinu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastian Stroescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th minute Julian Ruzicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vlad Alexandrescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carabaci CSS's Filip Purcaru managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vali Burca in the 18 minute of the game. Mircea Negreanu's late challenge caught a Carabaci CSS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mircea Negreanu helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes Tibucani FC got a freekick which was hit by Mircea Negreanu. In the 19th minute of the match Cristian Eufrasio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vlad Alexandrescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vlad Alexandrescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filip Purcaru's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Julian Ruzicki notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Tibucani FC's Vlad Alexandrescu. Vlad Alexandrescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 41 minutes, Paul Dinu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tibucani FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paul Dinu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Carabaci CSS booed when Tibucani FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mircea Negreanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Carabaci CSS's Moise Calini in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tibucani FC's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonard Ilica in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastian Stroescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Julian Ruzicki made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match, Leonard Ilica got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sebastian Stroescu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 55th minute, Petrică Cozorici hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tibucani FC's Vlad Alexandrescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Ruzicki in the 60th minute of play. If Julian Ruzicki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute Julian Ruzicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vlad Alexandrescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 70 minutes of play, Carabaci CSS's Julian Ruzicki made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vlad Alexandrescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 76 minutes into the match, Carabaci CSS's goalkeeper Sebastian Stroescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonard Ilica. The audience was convinced that Julian Ruzicki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vlad Alexandrescu was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Tibucani FC's Vlad Alexandrescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moise Calini in the 81st minute of play. Paul Dinu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 83rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of Carabaci CSS booed when Tibucani FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ştefan Bântu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Julian Ruzicki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leonard Ilica could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Sebastian Stroescu made a huge save. In the 91st match minute, Tibucani FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ştefan Bântu to maneuver through the defense. Julian Ruzicki struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Vlad Alexandrescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Tibucani FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carabaci CSS the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Tibucani FC's zone, Cristian Eufrasio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vlad Alexandrescu came out of the goal and Cristian Eufrasio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carabaci CSS's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
