With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ionuț Apostu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paul Dinu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionuț Apostu having to interfere. In the 29th match minute, Langenfeld CSS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Vâlceanu to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonard Ilica got free with Ionuț Apostu in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ionuț Apostu had great luck who in the 34thth minute grab hold of the ball when Paul Dinu from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Langenfeld CSS's Ionuț Apostu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Dinu in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vlad Toma in the 43rd minute of play forced Tibucani FC's goalkeeper Vlad Alexandrescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filip Blănaru got free with Vlad Alexandrescu in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Langenfeld CSS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
