After a defensive mix-up in Piratas's zone, Filip Blănaru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Deleanu came out of the goal and Filip Blănaru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filip Blănaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Victor Deleanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ionuț Apostu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gheorghe Corcoveanu in the 28th minute of the match. Rareș Proca scored 0-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ionuț Apostu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 34 minutes into the match, Piratas's Iustin Bădiliță broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. Gheorghe Corcoveanu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ionuț Apostu came out and tried to block the shot, but Gheorghe Corcoveanu slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 55th minute. In the 60th minute Filip Blănaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Deleanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vlad Toma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Deleanu having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vlad Toma in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victor Deleanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thanks to some nice moves Gheorghe Corcoveanu could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Ionuț Apostu however easily saved by the left post. When Adrian Strugure fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Piratas's protests and gave Adrian Strugure a yellow card for diving instead.
