When Julian Ruzicki fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carabaci CSS's protests and gave Julian Ruzicki a yellow card for diving instead. Julian Ruzicki hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute, Julian Ruzicki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of FC STEAUA ADJ booed when Carabaci CSS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Vinhas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of Carabaci CSS booed when FC STEAUA ADJ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihail Tufescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 played minutes Carabaci CSS got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Eufrasio. Sebastian Stroescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iacob Azamfirei in the 20th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Moise Calini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carabaci CSS's supporters rose to their feet, but Moise Calini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gigel Marchiș breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julian Ruzicki was shown his second yellow card after 29 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iacob Azamfirei in the 32nd minute of play forced Carabaci CSS's goalkeeper Sebastian Stroescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gigel Marchiș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moise Calini in the 42nd minute of play. In the 47th minute Iacob Azamfirei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Stroescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moise Gâgea to strike the kick off in the second half. Moise Calini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Gigel Marchiș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moise Calini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Carabaci CSS! Cristian Eufrasio scored 1-2 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gigel Marchiș, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Moise Calini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moise Calini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gigel Marchiș having to interfere. Moise Calini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Lupu during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC STEAUA ADJ getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Gabriel Lupu hit a great ball. Moise Calini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gigel Marchiș having to interfere. After 96 played minutes, FC STEAUA ADJ's Ion Bojincă shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sebastian Stroescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC STEAUA ADJ reached it. When the final whistle sounded Carabaci CSS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC STEAUA ADJ.
