In the 9th minute Julian Ruzicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionuț Apostu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moise Calini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionuț Apostu having to interfere. After some careless play in the Langenfeld CSS defense, Filip Purcaru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ionuț Apostu. The Langenfeld CSS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ionuț Apostu should have stopped the shot. Julian Ruzicki struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Ionuț Apostu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carabaci CSS. Moise Calini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Ionuț Apostu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Julian Ruzicki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ionuț Apostu. Langenfeld CSS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Ruzicki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The supporters of Carabaci CSS booed when Langenfeld CSS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costică Trandafir didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Julian Ruzicki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ionuț Apostu was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. In the 29th minute Carabaci CSS were awarded a corner. Cristian Eufrasio went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 30th minute, Julian Ruzicki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Moise Calini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ionuț Apostu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Moise Calini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionuț Apostu having to interfere. A collision led to Langenfeld CSS getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Codruț Argăseală hit a great ball. The Carabaci CSS fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Carabaci CSS's Julian Ruzicki looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 43 minutes of play, Carabaci CSS's Moise Calini made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ionuț Apostu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vlad Toma to make the kick off. Ionuț Apostu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Ruzicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Langenfeld CSS's Ionuț Apostu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Ruzicki in the 58th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Langenfeld CSS's zone, Cristian Eufrasio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ionuț Apostu came out of the goal and Cristian Eufrasio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albert Miclea took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sebastian Stroescu. Carabaci CSS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 64th minute, Julian Ruzicki reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ionuț Apostu. The goal made the score 0-6. When Moise Gâgea came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Carabaci CSS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moise Gâgea couldn't finish the play. Ionuț Apostu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Ruzicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute, Cristian Eufrasio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ionuț Apostu. The goal made the score 0-7. When Carabaci CSS's Julian Ruzicki in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Langenfeld CSS's goalie prevented a goal. Cristian Eufrasio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vlad Toma in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Stroescu saved Carabaci CSS from getting behind. The Langenfeld CSS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Carabaci CSS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
