A very good chance. 23 minutes into the game, Ioan Boltașu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. -BZF- Great Expectations's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ASC Rapid Dobroiesti the free kick. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Great Expectations's Ioan Boltașu got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After recieving a nice pass, ASC Rapid Dobroiesti's Constantin Lupea tried to score from far away in the 23rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ciprian Cojan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicu Ciurea having to interfere. Victor Achifoaiei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in -BZF- Great Expectations's zone, Ciprian Cojan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicu Ciurea came out of the goal and Ciprian Cojan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, Sorin Gane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th match minute, -BZF- Great Expectations was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ioan Boltașu to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Constantin Lupea from long distance, 31 minutes into the match, got Nicu Ciurea's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 39th minute, Victor Achifoaiei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victor Achifoaiei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicu Ciurea having to interfere. Niculae Pantea hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Leonard Bitang scored 1-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicu Ciurea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When ASC Rapid Dobroiesti's Ciprian Cojan in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. ASC Rapid Dobroiesti's Costică Stan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iurie Mangra in the 79th minute of play. A collision led to -BZF- Great Expectations getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Dragoş Afloroaiei hit a great ball. ASC Rapid Dobroiesti's Costică Stan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iurie Mangra in the 82nd minute of play. Nicu Ciurea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Achifoaiei in the 84th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Traian Paraschiv during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th minute, Traian Paraschiv hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th match minute, ASC Rapid Dobroiesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonard Bitang to maneuver through the defense. Olimpiu Ciordaș hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ASC Rapid Dobroiesti fans cheered their team off the field, for while -BZF- Great Expectations had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
