Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Celebichioi FC's Eduard Ţiţeica started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes MiaSanMia got a freekick which was hit by Bogdan Albu. A hard shot 7 in the game by Valeriu Lăzărescu from a close distance when the talented Ovidiu Cojan managed to make a qualified save. MiaSanMia's players were relieved. If Valeriu Lăzărescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidiu Cojan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduard Ţiţeica in the 21st minute of play. When Celebichioi FC's Eduard Ţiţeica in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MiaSanMia's goalie prevented a goal. When Valeriu Lăzărescu came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Celebichioi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valeriu Lăzărescu couldn't finish the play. Mihail Lipan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Celebichioi FC booed when MiaSanMia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Albu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Valeriu Lăzărescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind MiaSanMia's goalkeeper Ovidiu Cojan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 39 played minutes MiaSanMia got a freekick which was hit by Bogdan Albu. Gabriel Mischie, 40 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Celebichioi FC's Valeriu Lăzărescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ovidiu Cojan. That made the score 1-0 after 42 minutes of play.

The wind increased when Mihail Lipan made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Ţiţeica in the 54th minute of play forced MiaSanMia's goalkeeper Ovidiu Cojan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovidiu Cojan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valeriu Lăzărescu in the 57th minute of the match. Ovidiu Cojan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eduard Ţiţeica's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. In the 65th minute Valeriu Lăzărescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Cojan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 2-0 became the score in the 69th minute when Eduard Ţiţeica elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 73 played minutes MiaSanMia got a freekick which was hit by Bogdan Albu. Valeriu Lăzărescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidiu Cojan having to interfere. Bogdan Albu was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Mihail Lipan's late challenge caught a Celebichioi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mihail Lipan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th match minute, MiaSanMia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihail Lipan to maneuver through the defense. After 86 minutes, Remus Covrig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Celebichioi FC and the MiaSanMia players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Celebichioi FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Remus Covrig hit a great ball. Ovidiu Cojan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduard Ţiţeica in the 87th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Eduard Ţiţeica managed to get in a good position for a shot. Celebichioi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduard Ţiţeica was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidiu Cojan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Celebichioi FC's Valeriu Lăzărescu got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aurelian Barbu struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Martin Olăroiu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MiaSanMia.
