Spectators: 7442 (Terracing: 5742, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 50) In the 3rd minute Olimpiu Praporgescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Olăroiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 4 played minutes Celebichioi FC got a freekick which was hit by Horaţiu Ştef. Gigel Teişanu hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute of the match Gabriel Mischie shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cazimir Gheară showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Costin Marincean fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oltenasii's protests and gave Costin Marincean a yellow card for diving instead. Costin Marincean hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Martin Olăroiu was a little too slow when Mihai Orădan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Costin Marincean got free with Martin Olăroiu in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ivan Dică had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Aanuţei scored 1-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cazimir Gheară, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ivan Dică received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Martin Olăroiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Edgar Ivasiuc ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cazimir Gheară was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. A collision led to Celebichioi FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Valeriu Lăzărescu hit a great ball. Martin Olăroiu came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Oltenasii's Ivan Dică. But to his dismay, Ivan Dică quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eduard Ţiţeica to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Oltenasii got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Dică. The referee felt a red card was in order, 58 minutes into the game, when Gigel Teişanu put in a rough tackle. Gigel Teişanu hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Oltenasii's zone, Manuel Aanuţei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cazimir Gheară came out of the goal and Manuel Aanuţei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oltenasii's Ivan Dică got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Celebichioi FC's Manuel Aanuţei dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Cazimir Gheară showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Ivasiuc in the 73rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Celebichioi FC's zone, Mihai Orădan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Olăroiu came out of the goal and Mihai Orădan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Costin Marincean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 92 played minutes Celebichioi FC got a freekick which was hit by Horaţiu Ştef. After a rather tough play, Celebichioi FC's Edgar Ivasiuc got a free kick in the 94th minute. Celebichioi FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Oltenasii's much stronger midfield.
