Tudor Iliescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 12 played minutes Capiteni got a freekick which was hit by Felix Bondrea. In the 13th minute, Capiteni's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bogdan Chitila fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Eduard Sitaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduard Sitaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Boteanu having to interfere. After some careless play in the Bucovat CS defense, Tudor Iliescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marian Boteanu. The Bucovat CS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marian Boteanu should have stopped the shot. After 25 played minutes Bucovat CS got a freekick which was hit by Iurie Purje. Tudor Iliescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Marian Boteanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Iurie Purje fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gheorghe Susara, passed just outside the right post. After 94 minutes, Șerban Geambașu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bucovat CS and the Capiteni players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Bucovat CS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Capiteni were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
