Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5626, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mugurel Mihu made the kick off which started today's match. Mugurel Mihu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Horea Pescaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 6 minutes, Eliodor Firea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pancota's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliodor Firea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 7thth minute of the game Ştefan Pârlog who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rapiduletu's Horea Pescaru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Rapiduletu's goal looked a bit too open when Leontin Dobrescu came free, but Horea Pescaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horea Pescaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mugurel Mihu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valentin Curteanu kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Gabriel Melinescu's late challenge caught a Pancota's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Daniel Nicolae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasile Jurăscu in the 20th minute of the match. Daniel Nicolae made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when George Furdui sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute Vasile Jurăscu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Nicolae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Nicolae was a little too slow when Vasile Jurăscu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 1-0. After having played for 28 minutes, Vasile Jurăscu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ovidiu Jurăscu hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. When Pancota's Leontin Dobrescu in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rapiduletu's goalie prevented a goal. Gabriel Melinescu got his second yellow card in the match during the 39th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Eliodor Firea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rapiduletu's Horea Pescaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leontin Dobrescu in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when George Furdui made the kick off in the second half. Mugurel Mihu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mihnea Cezar got free with Horea Pescaru in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute Eliodor Firea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horea Pescaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ştefan Pârlog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ştefan Pârlog blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horea Pescaru having to make a save. 81 minutes into the match, Rapiduletu's goal looked a bit too open when Mugurel Mihu came free, but Horea Pescaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 83 in the game by Eliodor Firea from a close distance when the talented Horea Pescaru managed to make a qualified save. Rapiduletu's players were relieved. Eliodor Firea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Horea Pescaru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Horea Pescaru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mugurel Mihu's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. After 90 minutes, Eliodor Firea made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Rapiduletu's Horea Pescaru tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pancota played a much better game than Rapiduletu and deserved their victory. The Rapiduletu players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
