Spectators: 7495 (Terracing: 5622, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Lupoi started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Rocada mica booed when Old Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Elefterescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Rocada mica's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Boian came free, but Liviu Murgescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Daniel Lupoi, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 9 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Liviu Murgescu was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Liviu Murgescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Boian, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Rocada mica:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Old Boys:s goal. In the 22nd minute there was a penalty for Old Boys. Adam Bălanescu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Liviu Murgescu. 0-1. Daniel Lupoi took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Liviu Murgescu. Liviu Murgescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Olimpiu Pătrășcanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Mihail Magheran made a huge save. If Olimpiu Pătrășcanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mihail Magheran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costin Suşu in the 35th minute of play. Olimpiu Pătrășcanu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Mihail Magheran when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Lupoi in the 45th minute of play forced Rocada mica's goalkeeper Liviu Murgescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olimpiu Pătrășcanu was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes, Cătălin Ioneasa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rocada mica and the Old Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. Albert Boian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Liviu Murgescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Lupoi struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Liviu Murgescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Old Boys. With a little luck, Rocada mica's Liviu Murgescu got control of the ball when Albert Boian tried to sneak it across the goal line. Albert Boian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liviu Murgescu having to interfere. Albert Boian was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 70th minute. Old Boys's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Daniel Lupoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liviu Murgescu having to interfere. Daniel Lupoi struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Liviu Murgescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Old Boys. 86 minutes into the game, Daniel Lupoi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Liviu Murgescu. Daniel Lupoi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Albert Boian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liviu Murgescu having to interfere. After some careless play in the Old Boys defense, Olimpiu Pătrășcanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mihail Magheran. The Old Boys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mihail Magheran should have stopped the shot. Old Boys's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
