Spectators: 6714 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cătălin Țepelea kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute of the match Iordache Soneriu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gică Bornescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Fc Poli Unirea Iasi's goal looked a bit too open when Olimpiu Pătrășcanu came free, but Gică Bornescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Liviu Murgescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cătălin Țepelea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Rocada mica's Nae Banica got a free kick in the 10th minute. Cătălin Țepelea might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Liviu Murgescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cătălin Țepelea ran back to his position shaking his head. 16 minutes into the match, Rocada mica's goal looked a bit too open when Cătălin Țepelea came free, but Liviu Murgescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 played minutes Fc Poli Unirea Iasi got a freekick which was hit by Emil Mitrea. The audience was convinced that Olimpiu Pătrășcanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gică Bornescu was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Liviu Murgescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cătălin Țepelea, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 26 minutes, Flavius Floreanu made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Rocada mica's Liviu Murgescu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31stth minute of the game Ionuț Ignătescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fc Poli Unirea Iasi's Gică Bornescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Olimpiu Pătrășcanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Gică Bornescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Costin Suşu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fc Poli Unirea Iasi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cătălin Ioneasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Rocada mica's players had a chance to rest. Ionuț Ignătescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olimpiu Pătrășcanu got free with Gică Bornescu in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ionuț Ignătescu struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Gică Bornescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rocada mica. If Olimpiu Pătrășcanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olimpiu Pătrășcanus short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Gică Bornescu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavius Floreanu in the 76th minute of play forced Rocada mica's goalkeeper Liviu Murgescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cătălin Țepelea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Liviu Murgescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 83 minutes, Flavius Floreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Poli Unirea Iasi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavius Floreanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute Cătălin Țepelea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liviu Murgescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olimpiu Pătrășcanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Radu Cârnațiu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gică Bornescu came out and tried to block the shot, but Radu Cârnațiu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 92nd minute. The Rocada mica players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Fc Poli Unirea Iasi from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
