With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remus Oniga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, BORSA -MM-'s Stelian Chirea got a free kick in the 5th minute. During the 8th minute of the match Stelian Chirea completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Stelian Chirea a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Cirjoani's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Sabin Diaconescu scored to the left of an out of position Laurențiu Gheție, making the score, 1-0. With a little luck, Cirjoani's Laurențiu Gheție got control of the ball when Nicodim Movileanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Laurențiu Gheție made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sabin Diaconescu in the 16th minute. If Denis Cartianu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laurențiu Gheție came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by BORSA -MM-'s Sabin Diaconescu. But to his dismay, Sabin Diaconescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Iulian Simuţ struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Remus Oniga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cirjoani. Bogdan Huștiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remus Oniga having to interfere. Laurențiu Gheție made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabin Diaconescu in the 32nd minute of play. After 33 minutes, Denis Cartianu made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Cirjoani's Laurențiu Gheție tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Basarab Huțanu's late challenge caught a BORSA -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Basarab Huțanu helped the player get up and apologised. Remus Oniga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iulian Simuţ went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sabin Diaconescu got free with Laurențiu Gheție in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind BORSA -MM-'s goalkeeper Remus Oniga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Denis Cartianu to strike the kick off in the second half. Laurențiu Gheție took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabin Diaconescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sabin Diaconescu hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Bogdan Huștiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remus Oniga having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, BORSA -MM-'s Denis Cartianu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Laurențiu Gheție made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cirjoani's goalkeeper Laurențiu Gheție, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cirjoani's Laurențiu Gheție played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicodim Movileanu in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, BORSA -MM-'s Sabin Diaconescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Laurențiu Gheție made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. 73 minutes into the match, Sabin Diaconescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Laurențiu Gheție. Cirjoani's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sabin Diaconescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. In the 75th minute Nicodim Movileanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurențiu Gheție saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cirjoani's Laurențiu Gheție played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabin Diaconescu in the 79th minute of play. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cirjoani's goalkeeper Laurențiu Gheție, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Iulian Simuţ recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laurențiu Gheție stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Denis Cartianu's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. The supporters of BORSA -MM- booed when Cirjoani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basarab Huțanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laurențiu Gheție showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Cartianu in the 87th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Nicodim Movileanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cirjoani's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
