Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alin Axinia kicked off to start the match. Leonard Bâru made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Laurențiu Doicaru sent off a good shot on target. Laurențiu Doicaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Eduard Dumitrescu came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Barbarosa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduard Dumitrescu couldn't finish the play. After 14 played minutes Alin Axinia rounded Barbarosa FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Stelian Tănasă charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stelian Tănasă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 22 played minutes Barbarosa FC got a freekick which was hit by Stelian Tănasă. In the 23rd minute, Ion Ionescu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Barbarosa FC's Leonard Bâru didn't even have to move. Alin Axinia was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 26th minute. Abus's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Alin Axinia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Bâru having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Abus's Alin Axinia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leonard Bâru. That made the score 2-0 after 30 minutes of play. When Iordache Melinescu fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Abus's protests and gave Iordache Melinescu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Abus's Iordache Melinescu got a free kick in the 34th minute. Leonard Bâru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alin Axinia in the 42nd minute of the match. Leonard Bâru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alin Axinia in the 44th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eduard Dumitrescu was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Barbarosa FC's Eduard Dumitrescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leontin Bunoaică. That made the score 2-1 after 67 minutes of play. Leonard Bâru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alin Axinia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute, Eduard Dumitrescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barbarosa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. If Nae Vornicescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Barbarosa FC booed when Abus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manole Puiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
