Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Wedding&Funeral Orchestra's Dinu Stancu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Abus's Alin Axinia got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Dinu Stancu put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Leontin Bunoaică. In the 14th minute Alin Axinia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iordache Fărcășan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Wedding&Funeral Orchestra's goal looked a bit too open when Alin Axinia came free, but Iordache Fărcășan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iordache Fărcășan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alin Axinia in the 18th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Dinu Stancu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leontin Bunoaică was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Leontin Bunoaică showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihăiţă Baniu in the 25th minute of the match. Laurențiu Doicaru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Iordache Fărcășan made a huge save. Dinu Stancu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leontin Bunoaică having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Abus's Ionel Cornoiu got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After 39 played minutes, Abus's Andrei Groșan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Iordache Fărcășan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Abus reached it. Alin Axinia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alin Axinia to strike the kick off in the second half. Mihăiţă Baniu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leontin Bunoaică read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Wedding&Funeral Orchestra's Iordache Fărcășan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alin Axinia in the 63rd minute of play. Iordache Fărcășan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurențiu Doicaru in the 64th minute of play. A collision led to Wedding&Funeral Orchestra getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Marcu Tăutu hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the game, Alin Axinia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Iordache Fărcășan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Iordache Fărcășan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alin Axinia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alin Axinia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Marcu Tăutu fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wedding&Funeral Orchestra's protests and gave Marcu Tăutu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Abus booed when Wedding&Funeral Orchestra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcu Tăutu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Alin Axinia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alin Axinia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alin Axinia in the 88th minute of play forced Wedding&Funeral Orchestra's goalkeeper Iordache Fărcășan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute Laurențiu Doicaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iordache Fărcășan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Wedding&Funeral Orchestra walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
