If Horaţiu Nițu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonard Bâru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iordache Andrițoiu in the 4th minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Pochiscani's Iordache Andrițoiu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonard Bâru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nae Vornicescu during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th minute, Nae Vornicescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Staicu came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Barbarosa FC's Nae Vornicescu. But to his dismay, Nae Vornicescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When Pochiscani's Iordache Andrițoiu in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barbarosa FC's goalie prevented a goal. Leonard Bâru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horaţiu Nițu in the 22nd minute of the match. Leonard Bâru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iordache Andrițoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Leonard Bâru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iordache Andrițoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iordache Andrițoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Iordache Andrițoiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonard Bâru was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. In the 32nd minute, Dragoş Tapalagă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Barbarosa FC defense, Iordache Andrițoiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonard Bâru. The Barbarosa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonard Bâru should have stopped the shot. Leonard Bâru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iordache Andrițoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Leonard Bâru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iordache Andrițoiu's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Horaţiu Nițu struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Leonard Bâru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pochiscani. 48 minutes into the match, Iordache Andrițoiu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonard Bâru. Barbarosa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iordache Andrițoiu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iordache Andrițoiu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leonard Bâru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iordache Andrițoiu in the 55th minute of play. When Eduard Dumitrescu came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Barbarosa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduard Dumitrescu couldn't finish the play. Iordache Andrițoiu in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leonard Bâru, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Iordache Andrițoiu took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonard Bâru. Leonard Bâru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Leonard Bâru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iordache Andrițoiu in the 71st minute of the match. Iordache Andrițoius short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Leonard Bâru to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Ilie Tiberiu came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Pochiscani fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ilie Tiberiu couldn't finish the play. Iordache Andrițoiu charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iordache Andrițoiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Iordache Andrițoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Leonard Bâru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 86 played minutes Barbarosa FC got a freekick which was hit by Eduard Dumitrescu. The supporters of Pochiscani booed when Barbarosa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristinel Buzatu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Barbarosa FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pochiscani were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
