Mihăiţă Baniu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Eugen Popan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8thth minute of the game Dinu Stancu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MOTANILA's Eugen Popan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dinu Stancu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugen Popan having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, MOTANILA's goal looked a bit too open when Dinu Stancu came free, but Eugen Popan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Dinu Stancu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Eugen Popan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ivan Cicortaș charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivan Cicortaș the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ivan Cicortaș kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Tudor Drăgoescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iordache Fărcășan. Wedding&Funeral Orchestra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tudor Drăgoescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The supporters of MOTANILA booed when Wedding&Funeral Orchestra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavel Băcioiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eugen Popan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinu Stancu in the 68th minute of the match. Dinu Stancu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 73 played minutes MOTANILA got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Cicortaș. In the 79th match minute, Wedding&Funeral Orchestra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcu Tăutu to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute Tudor Drăgoescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iordache Fărcășan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 minutes, Lucrețiu Iuzbașa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wedding&Funeral Orchestra and the MOTANILA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lucrețiu Iuzbașa kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Wedding&Funeral Orchestra's goalkeeper Iordache Fărcășan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Petru Suluțiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luca Isăceanu in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iordache Fărcășan saved Wedding&Funeral Orchestra from getting behind. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
