After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Alin Axinia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abus's supporters rose to their feet, but Alin Axinia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Staicu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pochiscani's Victor Staicu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alin Axinia in the 21st minute of play. Leontin Bunoaică stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iordache Andrițoiu's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. The audience was convinced that Iordache Andrițoiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leontin Bunoaică was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iordache Andrițoiu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Ilie Tiberiu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pochiscani and the Abus players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Abus booed when Pochiscani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leontin Bunoaică prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iordache Andrițoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leontin Bunoaică having to interfere. Iordache Andrițoiu struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Leontin Bunoaică didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pochiscani. After 64th play minutes Iordache Andrițoiu shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Leontin Bunoaică and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 71stth minute of the game Iordache Andrițoiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Abus's Leontin Bunoaică was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Horaţiu Nițu put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Leontin Bunoaică. If Horaţiu Nițu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
