After a defensive mix-up in KONG FUZI FC's zone, Olimpiu Siclovan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gică Mândrilă came out of the goal and Olimpiu Siclovan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, KONG FUZI FC's Pavel Pintea got a free kick in the 10th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sergiu Muntian during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 11 played minutes KONG FUZI FC got a freekick which was hit by Sergiu Muntian. Horaţiu Maleș kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After 15 played minutes, Pungesti AFC's Marius Timofte shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gică Mândrilă came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pungesti AFC reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Isac Iacob managed to get in a good position for a shot. KONG FUZI FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isac Iacob was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bogdan Hosu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gică Mândrilă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cezar Minulescu in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to KONG FUZI FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Fabian Bărbânță hit a great ball. If Florin Rareș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gică Mândrilă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florin Rareș, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, Doru Hârlab hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Pungesti AFC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isac Iacob made a kick off. Fabian Bărbânță kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. The referee ignored Pungesti AFC's protests and gave Ernest Miu a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florin Rareș in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gică Mândrilă saved KONG FUZI FC from getting behind. Florin Rareș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sergiu Muntian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Florin Rareș's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gică Mândrilă was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. In the 80th match minute, KONG FUZI FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Pintea to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Olimpiu Siclovan sped through KONG FUZI FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gică Mândrilă. Gică Mândrilă didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olimpiu Siclovan went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After 94 minutes, Fabian Bărbânță mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KONG FUZI FC and the Pungesti AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Pungesti AFC booed when KONG FUZI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Bărbânță didn't get a good kick on the ball. KONG FUZI FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
